WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS TO BECOME A DISTRIBUTOR?
Sea Shield Marine’s distributors are more than clients to us, we consider them partners. We follow a strict vetting process which includes:
- Business Credit Check with Dunn & Bradstreet
- There is a minimum first time stocking order of at least $5000
DO YOU CHARGE FOR FREIGHT?
To receive free freight, we request a minimum order of at least $3000 for West Coast Shipments and $4000 on East Coast deliveries. Anything less than the minimum order the distributor would have to pay their own freight.
HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER AS A DISTRIBUTOR?
One of our knowledgeable friendly sales staff can take your order right over the phone or by email.
DO YOU GIVE EXCLUSIVITY RIGHTS TO DISTRIBUTORS?
Sea Shield Marine follows a controlled distribution policy allowing our dealers to flourish in their territories. Normally, we do not work with exclusivity agreements, but we don’t oversaturate a market either. If you are interested in a specific territory please call or email to check availability.
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR?
- Marketing and promotion of product at territory level
- Sales of product with mutually agreed sales targets
- Provide installation and after-sales service
- Adherence to local regulations
